Everyone is familiar with the concept of community child care centers, youth and teen centers, and senior centers. The YMCA, offering a continuum of services and programs that spans all generations, has created "family centers" in nearly every community. The Y is a place where all family members can go together and participate in fun, healthy activities as a family, or join their peers in activities of special interest. Enjoying the Y together is a great way to strengthen family bonds.The Licking County Family YMCA provides many opportunities throughout the year for families to come together and have fun.
Family Fun Nights
The YMCA offers several opportunities for local families to visit the Y and participate in family oriented activities. Family fun nights are:
April 7 Bunny Brunch 10:30am - 12:00pm
Registration is required. Free to all members.
Parents Night Out
Leave the kids at the YMCA and enjoy a night out. Don't worry about finding a babysitter; go to the movies, maybe dinner, or just to get some shopping done. Drop your kids off at the YMCA, where they can go swimming, play basketball, or just hang with their friends. Pre-registration is necessary and parents must have a full YMCA membership to participate.
