Our Facilities
The Licking County Family YMCA is located on 42 wooded acres
along Raccoon Creek at 470 West Church Street, just east of
South 21st Street. A Western Branch was opened in Spring 2002.
Since 1994, the YMCA has completed over $4.5 million in expansions
and renovations including the addition of a second gymnasium,
walking/jogging track, aerobic studio, a new outdoor pool/water park,
and updated locker rooms. in 2004, the YMCA began a $3 million
expansion building a new outdoor bath house, a fieldhouse and
childcare center. The Mitchell Family Recreation Center houses the
new Schenk Gym, two multi-purpose courts, and the gymnastics
center. The YMCA serves residents throughout Licking County
including Newark, Heath, Granville, Johnstown, Pataskala,
Alexandria, and Hebron.

- 25 meter 6-lane lap pool – Evans Pool
- 20 yard, warm water pool – Barker Pool

water slides and water attractions
- Mens and womens adult locker room with sauna and
steam room
- Male and female family locker rooms
- Special needs locker room for members with physical
disabilities or mixed family usage
- Mitchell Recreation Center with 2 full size multi-purpose
courts and gymnastic center
- 1/18 mile walking/jogging track
- 2,000 sq. ft. aerobic studio
- 8,000 sq. ft. state licensed childcare center accommodating
children 6 weeks to 13 years old
- Babysitting area – Rainbowland
- Access to 21.5 miles of bike path
Western Branch
The Licking County Family YMCA opened a Western Branch in
the Spring of 2002. The Western Branch is located at 355 West
Broad Street in Pataskala.
