Adult Sport

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

The YMCA Adult Sports program is an opportunity for adults to
havefun while working out as well as to teaching character values:
Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility. We do this through
fair play to provide a learning atmosphere for all involved.
A winning at all cost attitude is not a part of our program and is
not acceptable here.  We strive to provide a quality adult sports
program for everyone.

Y Walk/Run Club

Exercising regularly is one of the best ways to reduce your risk
factors for many illnesses, improve your overall health, and
improve your life.  We want to make it easier and fun for you to
get the exercise you need.  You can walk on a treadmill, track, or
on the bike path, which ever you enjoy.  All you need to do is
register with a staff member in the Health & Fitness Center.
Each day you walk, sign in at the fitness center desk and record
the miles you walked in your mileage log.  A pedometer will be
available for your convenience.  Just ask the fitness staff if you
need any help.
